Text messages from DailyOk App

DailyOk App is a personal safety check-in app made by Daily Ok LLC. A DailyOk App user can choose trusted people as their emergency contacts. If the user misses a check-in, DailyOk App sends those contacts a text message so they can try to reach the user.

How emergency contacts agree to receive texts

  1. 1

The user adds you as a contact.

In the DailyOk App, a user enters your name and mobile number. They should already know you.

  2. 2

    You get one confirmation text.

It reads: "DailyOk App: Maria added you as their emergency contact. Tap to confirm you agree to receive safety alerts: [link]. Reply STOP to opt out." This is the only message sent before you agree. If you don't respond, you won't get any more texts.

  3. 3

You choose on the confirmation page.

The link opens a page that explains what the alerts are, with two buttons: Confirm and No thanks. Under the buttons it says: "By tapping Confirm, you agree to receive DailyOk App safety alert texts at this number when Maria misses a check-in. No marketing messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."

  4. 4

    Alerts only after you confirm.

DailyOk App sends you safety alerts only if you tapped Confirm.

What you'll receive

You'll receive an alert only when the user who added you misses a safety check-in. For example:

"DailyOk App ALERT: Maria missed their safety check-in at 9:00 AM, Mon Oct 13. Their message: "I may need help." Last known location: not shared. Please try to reach them. Reply STOP to opt out."

DailyOk App never sends marketing or promotional messages. How often you get alerts depends on how often the user misses a check-in. Message and data rates may apply.

How to stop

  • Reply STOP to any DailyOk App message.
  • Or tap No thanks on the confirmation page.

After you opt out, you won't receive any more messages from DailyOk App, even if someone adds you again. Reply HELP for help, or email info@dailyokapp.com.

Your mobile number is never sold or shared for marketing. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Read our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

DailyOk App is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
